Early Closure Thursday, January 9

The Whistler Museum will be closing early Thursday, January 9, at 7 pm.  We will reopen as usual at 11 am Friday, January 10.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Holiday Hours at the Whistler Museum 2019

December 19th, 2019
The Whistler Museum will be making a few changes to our hours over the holidays.
Tuesday, December 24: Open 11-2
Wednesday, December 25: Closed
Thursday, December 26: Closed
Tuesday, December 31: Open 11-2
Wednesday, January 1: Closed

We apologize for any inconvenience.  Regular hours apply to any days not listed above.

Feeding the Spirit 2019

Free food, great prizes and free admission 5:30 - 7:30 pm on Friday, November 8!

Come on down to the Whistler Museum for the annual Feeding the Spirit as part of Connect Whsitler.  Whether you've been in Whistler for two days or two decades, everyone is welcome.

November Hour Changes

November 5th, 2019
The Whistler Museum will open late at noon on Monday, November 11.  The museum will also close early at 5pm on Thursday, November 28 for a private event.  We will be open as usual all other days, and apologize for any inconvenience.

October 2019 Closures

October 20th, 2019
The Whistler Museum will be closed for the remaining Tuesdays in October, October 22 & October 29.  We will also be closing early at 5pm Thursday, October 24 & Thursday, October 31.  We will be open as usual all other days and apologize for any inconvenience.

Construction of the Whistler Village: 1978 - 1984

October 1st, 2019
Thursday, October 10, 2019. Turning a landfill into the Whistler Village was a massive undertaking. This temporary exhibit features a timeline of photos documenting the construction of the Village we know today, from framing to completion. . Doors open at 6:30 pm. Free admission. Exhibit closes November 22, 2019

Walking Tours July 1

June 28th, 2019
The Valley of Dreams Walking Tour will be canceled Monday, July 1 for Canada Day.  Discover Nature Tours at Lost Lake will run at 11am as usual.  All tours will resume at 11am Tuesday, July 2.  The Whistler Museum will be open from 1-5pm July 1.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Late Opening July 1

June 28th, 2019
The Whistler Museum will be opening late at 1pm on Monday, July 1 so that we can participate in the Canada Day Parade!  We apologize for any inconvenience and will be open at our usual time on Tuesday, July 2.

Early Closure Thursday, June 6

June 5th, 2019
The Whistler Museum will close early at 5pm Thursday, June 6.  We apologize for any inconvenience and will resume regular hours Friday, June 7.

Whistler Mountain Bike Heritage Week 2019

In celebration of the trails, talent and passion that makes mountain biking in Whistler special the Whistler Museum will be hosting the 4th annual Whistler Mountain Biker Heritage Week June 6 - 12.  Check our page under Events here for more information on presentations, workshops, film screenings and more!
