The Museum Shop

The museum shop features a unique selection of gifts and souvenirs with a particular emphasis on British Columbia and Whistler Products. We are proud to offer a selection of books by local authors, crafts by local artists, unique cards, and great gifts for kids.

If you’re shopping in the village, be sure to stop by the museum to pick up a unique gift, an interesting read, or something special for yourself (and of course tour our fascinating displays!).

Local Art and Crafts

We are now the only retailer in Whistler to be featuring ‘LUprints’ by Pemberton artist Ulla Clark, who creates unique screen prints. Her work has been featured in magazines such as Dwell, Canadian House & Home, and Glow. We have a number of LUprints items available including birch trays, coasters, and pillows.

We also carry prints by local artists Vanessa Stark and Chili Thom. These stunning images are a great way to brighten up any space.

We have locally produced jewellery, including Koz Creations’ unique feather earrings, some with locally sourced feathers, by Whistler artist Chelsea Kozlan.

Toad Hall
Poster

Whether you are a local to the area or are just visiting, one of our most popular items that we carry is the Toad Hall print. Famously taken in 1973 in front of Toad Hall which was then an old logging cabin and home to many of Whistler's "ski bums" it depicts the care-free nature of the 70's. The Museum carries originals from the first printing of the photo in 1973, no copies here!

We are also proud to carry both Florence Peterson's book First Tracks: Whistler's Early History, all about the history of the area, and Discover Nature as well. Discover Nature was created by and for the Museum in association with the Whistler Naturalists and the Whistler Biodiversity Project and is full of fun and informative activities for kids.
