Picturing Whistler:  Local Faces, Local Spaces

October 2004 - August 2005

This exhibit investigates the word "local" and the various meanings that it holds in Whistler.  In a place where visitors are an integral part of day to day activities, the process of making a resort community home can be complicated.  What is local?  Who is local?  When do you become a local and what does this entail?  This exhibit provides a glimpse into the lives of Whistler residents and will hopefully stimulate new ideas on what is local to you.
