The Whistler Museum offers a number of different historical educational programs. The following is an overview of current program offerings. Advanced booking is required for some programs. For further details and pricing information, please contact us.

Valley of Dreams Walking Tours

Guided Whistler Valley walking tours, facilitated by professional and experienced staff, are offered and can be arranged for groups of five or more. Click here for more information. Please contact the Museum to book a tour.

In June, July and August the Valley of Dreams Walking Tours run daily, leaving from the Whistler Visitor Centre at 1pm (the Whistler Visitor Centre is located just by the taxi/bus loop off Gateway Drive).  

Multimedia Presentations

The museum offers a multimedia slideshow presentation which focuses on the history of the development of Whistler Village, in conjunction with the events surrounding the history of Whistler's Olympic bids. Presentations are facilitated by long-term local Whistlerites and can be held either at the museum or at an off-site location. 

Tour Operators & Activity Planners Program

School Programs and Teacher Resources

School programs are offered to classes and schools and can either be facilitated at the museum or within the classrooms. A combination of instructional and interactive techniques ensures an entertaining and educational experience for participants of all ages, grade levels, and learning styles. All materials, handouts, and activities are available to instructors as teacher resources. For more infomation on available programs please click here.

Venue Rental

The Whistler Museum is available for rent as a venue for your next special event.  A cosy and unique environment, book the Whistler Museum for day or evening events, suitable for groups up to 75 people.  Catering and other services available upon request.  Contact us for more booking information.
