The museum shop features a
unique selection of well-made items with a particular emphasis
on British Columbia and Whistler-made products.
Books are our specialty
We are proud to offer a diverse range of well-written and
illustrated books. Featured subjects include: natural
history, geology, hiking, skiing, mountaineering, flora
and fauna, and black bears. We also have an excellent
selection of children’s books. Local guidebooks
and maps are also available and come with recommendations
and directions if you wish!

Reproductions and Publications
The Museum and Archives has created and published the following
items only available at the Museum Giftshop:
- Postcards from
historic Whistler reproduced from the Archives'
extensive collection of vintage photographs. Also, postcard images of Whistler from the 1980's to the present by photographer Rick Flebbe sold at 10 for $1.00.
- Season's Greetings and blank cards featuring
black and white images from Whistler’s pioneer days are
also available.
- Whistler Reflections by
Florence Petersen, Sally Mitchell and Janet Love Morrison,
is a book that recounts Whistler’s pioneer days
of explorers, loggers and assorted settlers. It depicts
a vivid description of life in the "Valley of Dreams" and
is filled with photographs from the Archives’ photograph
collection. $10.95
- Whistler Recipes by
the Whistler Museum and Archives Society. This cookbook
is dedicated to the early pioneers who cooked and baked
under challenging mountain conditions. Title pages feature
archival photographs of the early 1900s and the recipes
were collected from past and present valley residents,
and Friends of the Museum. Highlights include Oysters
a la Andreas, and Sala's Sponge Cake (from the Ferguson
Tea Room at Alta Lake, 1941). A one of a kind gift! $10.00
- Festive Favourites the
second cookbook produced by our hardworking volunteers
at the museum. This latest cookbook features scrumptious
recipes for holidays and special occasions. $10.00
